Ministerial Summit, Enniscorthy June 27th & 28th
Please join us for the first Annual Summit of the Enniscorthy Forum Buildings Action Coalition on June 27 – 29 in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Ireland. The theme is Buildings, Energy and the UN 2030 Agenda Challenge , and the event will launch a new initiative to drive multi-level change worldwide at a critical moment.
The Enniscorthy Forum was established to support the UN sustainable development agenda. We recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the UN Environment Programme linking their work on the Global Alliance for
Buildings and Construction with our Buildings Action Coalition. We believe the synergies between the two groups will be powerful.
Getting buildings and the built environment right is the one action that can deliver integrated solutions at scale in a timely fashion to produce tangible outcomes on climate, resilience, and quality of life.
The BAC Summit agenda will include plenaries, breakouts, and project workshops on:
Buildings Breakthrough Target
Developing a UN Protocol on High Performance Buildings
Community Design and Transformation
The Brussels – Washington DC Collaboration
Workforce and Advanced Curriculum Development
Building & Energy Integration
Data Centers: A Unique Challenge
Strategies in the Global South
Building Performance Verification
From the Rubble: The Ukrainian Opportunity
Site Visit to Laois and Offaly World-Class Education and Training Center
And the Summit will feature:
Celebration of the UNEP MOU
BAC members signing to join the MOU

Project Driven Engagement with Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction
France and Morocco have launched the Building Breakthrough Target as a
pathway to sustainable buildings worldwide and are building support among UN members. It is the international policy focal point and the GlobalABC and the BAC are leveraging it to mobilize their growing coalitions.
The Summit is our inaugural step to align global action through the UN with local action and direct impact.
The Forum is working to ensure the Summit brings global attention to our many partners’ work and opens new paths for taking
